As the Finance Manager at Improving Lives, I bring extensive experience as an accountant, business advisor, and Branch Principal & Wealth Manager. With a solid background in financial services, I have supported a wide range of organisations in achieving strong financial governance, long-term sustainability, and regulatory compliance.
My role involves overseeing the financial operations of our aged care and NDIS services, including budgeting, funding management, reporting, and strategic financial planning. I ensure that all expenditures align with service goals and government guidelines, particularly under Home Care Packages and NDIS funding frameworks.
Driven by integrity, transparency, and results, I work closely with leadership and stakeholders to ensure that every dollar is used to maximise outcomes for our clients and uphold the mission of Improving Lives.
Fatima Torabi (Care Manager)

Fatima has gained valuable clinical experience through her part-time role at Burnside Hospital, where she provided compassionate post-surgical care in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. She is highly skilled in medication administration, health assessments, wound management, and supporting patients with chronic or complex needs.
Her approach to care is based on safety, dignity, and individualised support—making her a trusted and respected health professional among clients, families, and colleagues. Ms Hongxia Hu (Carol) Care supervisor
Ms. Hu brings extensive experience as a Registered Nurse and is a valued member of the Improving Lives team. She is designated to support the Care Manager in her role as Care Supervisor, assisting with clinical oversight, staff support, and client care coordination. Ms. Hu will also act on behalf of the Care Manager when required, ensuring continuity of quality care and adherence to Aged Care and NDIS standards.
